NIX Solutions: New Features in Google Contacts Beta

The authors of the Android Authority portal examined the latest beta version of Google Contacts (4.35) for Android and found several changes there. The main one is the ability to work with the application without a Google account.

NIX Solutions

Account-Free Usage

The new feature allows you to use the Google Contacts app without an account. This option is located in the menu that opens by clicking on the user’s avatar. In this case, synchronization will be disabled, contacts will be deleted from the device, but will remain in the contact.google.com cloud storage. We’ll keep you updated as more details emerge.

Updated Contact Card

Another change is a new contact card. Now you can quickly share a contact, add it to your desktop, delete it, or move it to another account, without having to reach for the three-dot button in the upper right corner of the screen. The contact card also includes functions for voicemail, reminders, and number blocking, adds NIX Solutions.

It is not yet known when these innovations will appear in the stable version of the application. We’ll keep you updated on the release dates and any further developments.
