Customization in Android 14 and What’s Coming in Android 15

Currently, Pixel smartphones running Android 14 allow users to modify the clock style on the lock screen, offering nine different options for selection. These options let users adjust the size and color of the clock to suit their preferences. With the upcoming Android 15 QPR2 update, however, Google is expected to introduce even more ways to personalize the lock screen.

In addition to these existing features, the latest beta version of Android 15 QPR2 reveals an exciting new option. This feature allows users to manually adjust the thickness, width, roundness, and tilt of the clock numbers. These adjustments will provide users with greater flexibility, enabling them to further tailor the lock screen to their liking and give it a more unique appearance.

Development Stage and Future Updates

NIX Solutions also notes that the new customization option is still in development. While it looks promising, it could undergo changes before the final release of Android 15 QPR2. Google might even decide not to include this feature at all. As always, we’ll keep you updated as more integrations become available.
